LMU | Fuji | Last lap, last corner - Could I have done anything to avoid this?

Coming into the final turn and onto the straight at Fuji on the last lap, im P3 in the red corvette, the BMW is P2. Just kinda sat wondering the day after, could I have done anything to avoid this, is there any blame for my part in it? Should I have went off track to avoid it or was I entitled to hold my line here and he was just a sore loser who turned in on me when I got the run on him? (Excuse the effects, I'd already edited it for socials when I thought about asking here)
